Webtrends secures new CRO contract with Flybe

Webtrends and Flybe

Webtrends, a global leader in digital optimisation, today announced a new partnership with Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline which operates more UK domestic flights than any other carrier.

Already experienced in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), Flybe wanted to move away from it’s existing fully managed service provider to one where tests could be implemented by its own internal team but have the benefits of a partial managed service for more complex areas such as personalisation.

Sarah Nicholson, Head of E-commerce at Flybe summed it up: “We wanted to be more in control, not only of day-to-day testing but also of our costs. It was important that any vendor we chose had to be able to leverage recent developments to our website, especially within our booking funnel, and be able to provide expertise to meet the remits of our strategic direction.  We are confident that Webtrends will deliver for us and they have been able to offer us a hybrid solution, self-service, with a managed service that fully meets our needs.”

Matt Smith, Director of Optimisation at Webtrends, commented: “Over the past year, we have transitioned our business to deliver more of what our customers now want. For many, that means having the flexibility of self-service but having the ability to call on our expertise at a fixed cost as and when needed.” Find out more about Webtrends Optimize here
