Advertising Views Settings

You can configure the default.ini file (located in the wtm_wtx\datfiles\adviews folder under the main program installation directory) to determine the number of visitors to your web site who view or click on a particular advertisement. Additionally, WebTrends includes an Ad Views and Clicks filter that can help you track a specific advertisement's traffic patterns (for example, busiest time of the day, day of the week) as well as demographic information (for example, top viewing/clicking organizations, country of origin).

The default section specifies the number of Advertising Views and Ad Click definitions. The settings for each Advertising View and Click are defined in the adprofile section. For more information, see the "Advertising Views" section of the "Advanced Features" chapter of your administration guide.
