Applying Advanced Features Definitions

Use this dialog box to apply Advanced Feature definitions to the currently selected profile and to specify the profile's default Session Tracking definition.

Session Tracking Tab

This tab lists the available Session Tracking definitions and how they're tracking visitors, e.g. by URL or cookie, etc. The default Session Tracking definition has a black dot to the left of it.

Use this tab to specify the following settings for the selected profile:

To specify a definition as the default for this profile, select the radio button to the left of it.
To view the details of a specific Session Tracking definition, highlight the definition then click View.
To always use the default Session Tracking definition specified on the Session Tracking tab of the main Advanced Features section, select the Always Use Default Definition check box.
Note: If this check box is selected, the default selection for this profile automatically matches any changes made to the default selection in the main Advanced Features section.

All Other Tabs

Use these tabs to apply Advanced Feature definitions to the currently selected profile.

Note: If an Advanced Feature definition has been applied globally (i.e., to all current profiles), its check box is selected and gray. You can not deselect it on a per profile basis. To manage Advanced Features definition applications globally, click the Advanced Features link near the top of the WRC AdminConsole.

To apply a Advanced Feature definition to this profile, select check box to the left of the definition.
To view the details of a specific Advanced Feature definition, highlight a definition then click View.
To apply all of the listed Advanced Feature definitions on to this profile, click Select All.
To deselect all of the listed Advanced Feature definitions, click Select None.
To apply all of the listed Advanced Feature definitions and have all new definitions for this Advanced Feature automatically applied when they're created, select the Always Use All check box.

To access this dialog box, add or edit a profile. Select the Advanced Features tab and click the link for the feature you want to work with.

*Note: If you have not been granted full administrative rights in WebTrends Reporting Center, or if you are a WebTrends Reporting Service or Log Analyzer user, you may not be able to configure or use this feature. Please see your administrator if you have any questions.
