Whether you are an experienced WebTrends software user, or newer to the product, you will find that the WebTrends Map is an efficient way to access five major profile settings. Once it's installed, to start using the WebTrends Map, just click the WebTrends Map icon in your IE browser. The WebTrends Map dialog box opens at the bottom of your screen, pre-populated with the active profile's current settings for the web page you are browsing. As you browse, the WebTrends Map will update itself to show which profile settings apply to the web page you are visiting. You may find you want to update certain profile settings as you continue to browse your site. Use the WebTrends Map dialog boxes to update:
Once the updates are captured with the WebTrends Map, they are also available through the WebTrends software's profile settings.

Note: You may install and use an unlimited number of copies of the WebTrends Map. Installing WebTrends Map would be appropriate on any user's machine so that they may have the ability to configure analysis features directly from their browser.
*Note: If you have not been granted full administrative rights in WebTrends Reporting Center, or if you are a WebTrends Reporting Service or Log Analyzer user, you may not be able to configure or use this feature. Please see your administrator if you have any questions.
